DONATEChiclayo is a coastal city in Peru where many families face significant challenges, including food insecurity, malnutrition, limited access to healthcare, and educational barriers that reduce employment opportunities. Women are often at the affected by these challenges, yet they are frequently excluded from leadership opportunities and decision-making spaces.

Building Women Leaders
This program will equip 50 women from 21 communities with the knowledge, confidence, and leadership skills needed to advocate for themselves, their families, and their communities.

Creating Safe and Supportive Communities
Women learn to recognize violence, support those at risk, promote equality, and connect families with available resources.
Developing Leaders and Advocates
Participants strengthen confidence, leadership, teamwork, and advocacy skills while learning how to identify community challenges and engage local decision-makers.
Building Networks for Lasting Change
Women develop communication and conflict-resolution skills, strengthen community relationships, and design action plans that address local needs.
