Sponsored children and elder
Chalice has been serving children and elders in Peru since 2004. We work in primarily urban communities. Our Peruvian sites are exceptional in their ability to support and learn from each other, constantly sharing best practices and creating cohesive programming.
Children in Peru are vulnerable to high drop-out rates in favour of finding work. Therefore, Chalice places emphasis on after-school support programming to keep children in school. Our partners ensure children have balanced, nutrient-rich diets by implementing nutrition programs. Our sites help create opportunities for parents to find work or begin their own income-generating projects.
