Youvensky

Youvensky is a five-year-old boy living in Terrier-Rouge, Haiti with his mother, grandmother, uncle, and cousin. Although Youvensky is just five years old, this ambitious preschooler is already building his dream of becoming an engineer. He enjoys school and learning and does well in his classes.

He loves writing and soccer, often playing with his friends after school. When he’s not kicking the ball and scoring goals, he and his friends like playing jump ropes. Youvensky also enjoys helping his family around the home doing small chores like sweeping.

Youvensky and his family live in a brick home with a sheet-metal roof. Maintaining a steady income can be difficult in Haiti, so his family often struggles to make ends meet. Despite this, Youvensky’s mother wants him to have a brighter future so she encourages this intelligent little boy to learn and study hard.

Sponsorship enables parents and caregivers to give their toddlers safe and happy years before starting school through improved nutrition, timely healthcare, and strong community support.
