Yeily

This little seven year old is Yeily, a Grade 2 student in San Isidro, Peru. Always cheerful and very talkative, Yeily likes to play with her dolls and is a great fan of soccer. In school, she enjoys art class, where she likes drawing and painting. She also likes writing and reading. Yeily is a great little helper at home, sweeping and washing dishes with her mother. When Yeily graduates high school, she hopes to go to cosmetology school.

Yeily lives with her parents and three sisters in a small adobe home. Her father works in the fields planting corn and maize and her mother stays at home to care for the children. Being part of the sponsorship program would be a big relief for this struggling family and would ensure Yeily is able to continue her studies and achieve her goal of becoming a cosmetologist.

Sponsorship enables children to attend class every day and have the supplies they need to complete their education, grow up healthy, and achieve their dreams.
