Victoria

Meet Victoria, a four-year-old girl from Syndicate, Kenya, a small community near Nakuru. Victoria is in preschool where she loves art class. She also loves dancing and will dance anywhere she can. Her favourite game is hide-and-seek. While Victoria is still very young, she says she wants to be a teacher when she grows up.

Victoria lives with her parents, two brothers, and two sisters in a two-room home. Her father works hard as a carpenter and her mother is a casual labourer. Both of her parents work very hard to support their five children, but their meager income does not cover all of their expenses, including the school fees for the children. Being part of the Chalice sponsorship program would be a huge relief to these struggling parents and would ensure Victoria is able to continue her studies with everything she needs to be successful and eventually achieve her goals.

Sponsorship enables children to attend class every day and have the supplies they need to complete their education, grow up healthy, and achieve their dreams.
