Royford

Meet Royford, a very sweet little boy from Kisima, Kenya. Royford is not in school yet, but he looks forward to meeting new friends. He loves to giggle and is always smiling.

Royford  lives with his mother and sister in a small, one-room rented home. As a single parent, Royford’s mother works very hard as a casual labourer, but her income is not sufficient to meet the family’s basic needs. Being part of the Chalice sponsorship program would be a huge relief to this struggling family, and would ensure Royford has a solid, healthy foundation that will allow him to be successful when he begins school.

Sponsorship enables parents and caregivers to give their toddlers safe and happy years before starting school through improved nutrition, timely healthcare, and strong community support.
