Angelina

This 14-year-old girl is Angelina. She lives in Wa, Ghana where she attends Grade 6. Angelina loves physical education class because she enjoys being active. When Angelina is not in class, she likes playing ampe with her friends. After graduating, Angelina has her sights set on becoming a nurse, so she is working hard at her studies to ensure she achieves her goal and creates a better future for herself and her family.

Angelina lives with her parents and two brothers. Both parents are farmers, but farming is very inconsistent and with the poor crop yields, they are not able to consistently meet the family’s basic needs, including the school fees. Being part of the Chalice sponsorship program would not only help this struggling family ease their financial worries, but it would also provide Angelina with a wonderful opportunity to continue her studies and gain the foundational education needed to eventually attend post-secondary school and achieve her goal of becoming a nurse.

Sponsorship enables children to attend class every day and have the supplies they need to complete their education, grow up healthy, and achieve their dreams.
