Uyokta

Uyokta is a caring 5-year-old girl living in Manipur, India. She is currently in grade 1, where grammar and literature are her favorite subjects. Uyokta is a cheerful young child who enjoys playing with her dolls, playing hide-and-seek with her friends, and playing volleyball. Driven by a desire to make a difference in her community, she dreams of becoming a social worker when she grows up so she can help people in need.

She lives with her parents in a dirt home with a metal sheet roof. Living in a modest household, her family faces ongoing financial challenges in meeting daily necessities and covering rising educational expenses.

Sponsorship enables children to attend class every day and have the supplies they need to complete their education, grow up healthy, and achieve their dreams.
