Uliana

Uliana is a kind and hardworking five-year-old girl living in Kosiv City, Ukraine. She lives in a wooden home with a single room shared with her parents, brother, two sisters, and grandparents, heating the space with firewood. Uliana enjoys drawing and likes taking care of her family’s pets, including feeding them. She also helps around the house with small chores, such as sweeping the floor. As she grows up, Uliana aspires to be a healthy and independent girl.

The family faces significant financial hardship, as Uliana’s mother has a visual disability that prevents her from working and receives only minimal state assistance. Her father’s income from irregular work for villagers is very low, and with the family expecting their fifth child and facing rising costs due to the war, they struggle to meet the children’s basic needs. Sponsorship is vital to help support Uliana and her family during these difficult times.

Sponsorship enables children to attend class every day and have the supplies they need to complete their education, grow up healthy, and achieve their dreams.
