Mykhailo

Mykhailo is a helpful and hardworking seven-year-old boy living in Kosiv Town, Ukraine. He is currently a first-grade student in an inclusive education program; while he faces challenges with speech and memory, he always tries his best in his studies. He has a special love for Physical Education and Arts, and in his free time, he enjoys drawing and coloring. Mykhailo enjoys helping his parents with household chores and takes pride in feeling strong and helpful. Looking toward the future, he dreams of becoming a farmer.

He lives in a wooden home with an asbestos roof alongside his parents, a brother, and two sisters. The family lives in a single room with Mykhailo’s grandparents and heats their home with firewood. Mykhailo’s family situation is challenging; his mother is visually impaired and cannot work, and his father’s income from working for villagers is irregular and small. With the rising cost of living since the start of the war, and with the family expecting their fifth child, they struggle to afford basic necessities. Sponsorship provides essential support for Mykhailo and his family during these difficult times.
