Sivanandh

Sivanandh is a very curious and bright 12-year-old from Elackad, a small village near Vayala, India. He is in Grade 7 where he is excelling in all of his subjects. During the school’s anniversary celebration, Sivanandh  represented his class in a dance competition and did very well. He likes participating in school activities, like their recent outing to a local water park. Sivanandh is very active and enjoys playing soccer. He loves making miniature figurines and other artistic activities.

Sivanandh is very proficient in English and likes to write letters. When he is not studying, he likes to spend time with his best friends, Devanadh, Santhosh, Rohit, Anoop, and Christy. When Sivanandh finishes school, he has a big dream of becoming  a police officer.

Sivanandh lives with his parents, two brothers, and grandfather in a three-room rented house. His father father was working as a truck driver but is currently suffering from leukemia and unable to work. His mother is a stay-at-home mom, taking care of the children and helping care for Sivanandh’s father. For Sivanandh, sponsorship would greatly help his struggling family and ensure he is able to continue his studies and gain a foundational education that will allow him to achieve his goal of becoming a police officer.

Sponsorship enables children to attend class every day and have the supplies they need to complete their education, grow up healthy, and achieve their dreams.
