Racheal

This bright young girl is Racheal, a 12-year-old from Muyanga, a remote village near Kasisi, Zambia. Racheal is currently in Grade 5 and really enjoys math class. She enjoys it so much, she decided she wants to become an accountant after finishing secondary school. Racheal is a highly dedicated student, walking 5 kms to school each day and studying hard to get good grades.

When she is not in school, Racheal enjoys playing net ball with her friends. She also really likes cooking and helping her mother with chores.

Racheal lives with her grandmother, Josephine, and her twin brother, Jacob. Josephine is a small-scale farmer who struggles to pay for her granddaughter’s school fees and materials. Being part of the sponsorship program would be a great relief to this family. It would ensure Racheal can continue her studies with all the academic resources she needs to be successful and achieve her goal of becoming an accountant.

Sponsorship enables children to attend class every day and have the supplies they need to complete their education, grow up healthy, and achieve their dreams.
