Phinddy

Phinddy is a very bright 11-year-old boy living in Tibelon, Haiti. He is currently in Grade 3, where he enjoys math class, but he already has his sights set on becoming an agronomist after graduating post-secondary school so he can help his community improve the farming conditions for larger crop production. He loves gardening, tending to plants, and being in nature.  When he’s not studying or gardening, Phinddy loves playing hide and seek with his friends.

Phinddy lives with his parents, sister, grandparents, and other family members in a small home. His father is a farmer and his mother works as a saleswoman. While both parents work tirelessly to support the large family, the income is not always consistent, especially with farming, so they are not always able to provide the family with the basic necessities. Sponsoring Phinddy would greatly help this family and go a long way to ensuring that he is able to finish school with a strong educational foundation for post-secondary school.

Sponsorship enables children to attend class every day and have the supplies they need to complete their education, grow up healthy, and achieve their dreams.
