Charlene

Charlene is a bright 15-year-old aspiring doctor from Jérémie, Haiti. Currently in Grade 7, she loves school, especially biology class. This caring teen is drawn to medicine because she hopes to be able to one day take care of her family and the many suffering people in her community.

Charlene lives with her parents, two sisters, grandmother, and several other family members in a small home. Both of her parents work as salespeople but the income is not always sufficient to provide for their large family. Sponsoring Charlene would provide the family with some financial relief and help to ensure Sharlene is able to continue in school where she will get the foundational education she needs to eventually attend post-secondary school.

Sponsorship enables children to attend class every day and have the supplies they need to complete their education, grow up healthy, and achieve their dreams.
