Nataliia

Nataliia is a bright 13-year-old girl living in Ukraine. A student in the seventh grade, she loves school and especially enjoys her Physical Education and Chemistry classes, where she likes learning about chemical elements and conducting experiments. In her free time, Nataliia loves caring for animals and spending time with her family’s two dogs and two cats, who help bring her comfort and joy during the difficult times of the war.

She lives in her grandmother’s house alongside her mother, her grandmother, and her three brothers—including her twin brother, Petro. The family occupies two rooms of the home, which they heat with a mix of gas and firewood to manage costs. Nataliia’s mother works hard as a factory fitter to provide for the large household yet the family still faces significant financial strain trying to cover expensive utility bills and daily necessities.

Sponsorship enables children to attend class every day and have the supplies they need to complete their education, grow up healthy, and achieve their dreams.
