Millicent

This sweet little six-year-old is from Dambolgangn, Ghana where she is in kindergarten. So far, she is really enjoying math class, although she likes everything about school. She loves reading because she enjoys learning something new every time she reads. When Millicent is not in class, she likes to play ampe, a local game, with her friends. When she finishes school, Millicent is looking forward to becoming a military officer.

Millicent lives with her parents, brother, and sister. Her parents struggle to meet the family’s basic needs and Millicent’s education fees, which include the necessary books, supplies, and school uniforms. Being part of the sponsorship program would be a wonderful opportunity for Millicent, as it would ensure she can continue her schooling that will give her the foundational education she needs to be successful and eventually achieve her goal of becoming a military officer.

Sponsorship enables children to attend class every day and have the supplies they need to complete their education, grow up healthy, and achieve their dreams.
