Milicah

Milicah is a very social 79-year-old widow living in Nanyuki, Kenya. She has five children, all but one who live in another village. Her daughter, Hellen, has been caring for her, but she can no longer afford the medical and nutritional support her mother needs. Milicah lost her vision to high blood pressure and although she is dependent on others for many things, she likes to do what she can on her own. Milicah loves to sing and finds great joy in listening to neighbourhood children playing.

Milicah lives on her own, but is in need of support as her health is failing. Being part of the elder sponsorship program would be a wonderful opportunity for Milicah. It would ensure she gets the necessary care she needs, including nutritional food.
