Midline

Midline is a dedicated six year old living in Patasson, a small community near Grand-Bassin, Haiti. She is currently in preschool and is especially fond of reading and language arts studies. She also really enjoys writing and playing soccer and basketball with her friends. Midline works hard at school and really enjoys attending because she likes to learn new things. When Midline graduates Grade 12, she has already decided she wants to become a police officer so she can serve her community. When Midline is not in class or studying, she really likes to play soccer.

This very sweet little girl lives with her parents, brother, and sister. Employment opportunities in Patasson are limited and the wages minimal, so it can be challenging for Midline’s parents to cover all the expenses for the family’s basic needs, including the children’s school fees. Being part of the Chalice sponsorship program would offer Midline a wonderful opportunity to remain in school, where she will gain the necessary education to achieve her goal of becoming a police officer after graduation secondary school.
