John

John is a vibrant 41-year-old man living in Ngakone, Kenya. He is full of energy, loves dancing, and enjoys running, holding onto a deep personal aspiration to one day become an international athlete despite his age and circumstances.

He lives with his parents in a single-room, canteen-style home built from adobe mud with a metal sheet roof. John is disabled and depends entirely on his aged and weak mother for his daily care. The family faces severe hardships, and John currently has no bed, relying on old, torn clothes spread on the floor to sleep on.

Sponsorship connects adults with disabilities to inclusive educational, occupational, and social activities and enables them to live dignified and healthy lives, regardless of their level of independence.
