Michel

Michel is a resilient and creative 13-year-old girl living in the Metropolitan Region, Chile. She is currently in grade 7, where visual arts is her favorite subject. Michel is a passionate student who loves painting, drawing, and practicing volleyball at school. Driven by a desire to serve her community and solve complex problems, she works hard in school and dreams of becoming a forensic investigation police detective when she grows up.

She lives in a wooden home with a metal sheet roof alongside her aunt, uncle, sister, and five cousins. Managing a large extended household of nine family members on a modest income makes covering basic daily necessities and purchasing school supplies and uniforms a continuous financial struggle.

Sponsorship enables children to attend class every day and have the supplies they need to complete their education, grow up healthy, and achieve their dreams.
