Catherine

Catherine is a dedicated and responsible 15-year-old girl living in Grand’Anse, Haiti. She is currently in grade 8, where history and social studies are her favorite subjects. Catherine is an active and helpful youth who enjoys playing soccer and takes pride in helping clean her home. Driven by a desire to take care of the sick and serve her community, she works hard in school and dreams of becoming a doctor when she grows up.

She lives in a stone home with a metal sheet roof alongside her parents, two brothers, grandmother, and other family members. Her father works as a farmer while her mother manages the household. Supporting a large, multi-generational household on modest agricultural earnings makes covering everyday living expenses and ongoing educational supplies a continuous financial challenge.

Sponsorship enables children to attend class every day and have the supplies they need to complete their education, grow up healthy, and achieve their dreams.
