Melchoir

This very bright eight year old is from Luhombero, Tanzania where he is currently in Grade 2. He dreams of becoming an engineer one day and is already studying hard to ensure that dream comes true. When Melchoir is not studying he likes to pray, something he also takes very seriously. Like most children his age, Melchoir also likes to play with his friends and watch cartoons.

Melchoir lives with his mother and brother. As a single parent, his mother works hard to keep her small food vendor business afloat, but the income is not always consistent and often does not cover even the basic needs of the family, including school fees and food. Sponsorship would  be a blessing for this ambitious little boy as it would help ease his mother’s tremendous financial stress and ensure Melchoir can continue in school where he will get the foundational education he needs to reach his goals.

Sponsorship enables children to attend class every day and have the supplies they need to complete their education, grow up healthy, and achieve their dreams.
