Bahati

Bahati is a joyful 6-year-old girl living in Namtumbo, Tanzania. She is currently in kindergarten and loves her science classes, as well as studying, dancing, drawing, and playing with her friends. Bahati is a curious student who dreams of becoming a teacher when she grows up so she can share her love of learning with others.

She lives with her mother, Veronica, in a two-room brick home with a thatched roof. Bahati is the youngest of three children in her family. Her mother works hard doing small casual jobs and farming small plots of maize and millet to provide for the household, all while managing her own health challenges. Sponsorship provides essential support for Bahati’s education and well-being, easing her mother’s financial burden and giving Bahati the resources she needs to thrive in school.

Sponsorship enables children to attend class every day and have the supplies they need to complete their education, grow up healthy, and achieve their dreams.
