Muntari

Say hello to Muntari, a very friendly and dedicated 16-year-old boy from Luhombero, Tanzania. Currently in Grade 8, Muntari makes the 2.5 km walk to school daily. He loves science, biology, and reading because he can learn new things. He has big dreams of becoming a teacher after graduating so he can help others learn. Apart from being exceptionally studious, Muntari is also very active and really enjoys playing soccer with his friends.

Muntari lives with his parents, brother, and sister in a small adobe home with a palm-leaf roof. His parents struggle to pay for the family’s basic necessities, so being part of the sponsorship program would give Muntari the ability to continue his studies and receive a vital foundational education that will help him achieve his goal of becoming a teacher.

Sponsorship enables children to attend class every day and have the supplies they need to complete their education, grow up healthy, and achieve their dreams.
