Manishasri

Manishasri is a sweet seven year old from Kodaikanal, India. She is only in Grade 2, but already has dreams of becoming a doctor. Manishasri really enjoys language arts and when she is not in school, she likes to draw and dance. She also really likes playing with her sister and helping her mother with household chores.

Manishasri’s father passed away in a bike accident on April 2025. Now a single parent, Manishasri’s mother does her best to support her and her sister on her meager income as a caretaker in a nearby bungalow. Being part of the sponsorship program would  greatly help this struggling family and help ensure that Manishasri can continue her studies, eventually achieving her goal of becoming a doctor.

Sponsorship enables children to attend class every day and have the supplies they need to complete their education, grow up healthy, and achieve their dreams.
