Lucky

Lucky is a cheerful seven-year-old boy living in Serenje, Zambia. Currently a first-grader, he likes school very much, demonstrates good academic performance, and names mathematics as his favorite subject. In his free time, he loves listening to music, playing with his friends, and participating in sports like netball. He is a helpful child at home who regularly assists his family by sweeping the house. Looking to the future, Lucky dreams of becoming a police officer when he grows up.

He shares a brick home with a thatched roof alongside his parents and sister. His family lives on Kambobe farms and practices peasant farming for their basic survival. Unfortunately, their small-scale harvests are not enough to sustain the household through to the next farming season. This creates a severe financial strain, making it incredibly difficult for his parents to secure consistent food and school materials. A steady sponsorship will lift this economic burden from his parents, ensuring Lucky receives the proper nutrition, clothing, and school supplies he needs to stay focused in class.

Sponsorship enables children to attend class every day and have the supplies they need to complete their education, grow up healthy, and achieve their dreams.
