Kristel

Kristel is a cheerful and friendly 4-year-old girl living in José Leonardo Ortiz, Peru. She is currently thriving in preschool, where she absolutely loves art class, coloring, and playing with her dolls. Full of natural curiosity, Kristel enjoys asking plenty of questions about the world around her, and her favorite treats are strawberries and noodles with chicken.

She lives with her family in an adobe home within a local human settlement. Her father works as a painter and her mother occasionally takes on work washing clothes, but because employment is inconsistent, the family faces a very difficult economic situation. Managing daily necessities and ensuring consistent educational opportunities for multiple children on unstable incomes is a constant financial struggle. The sponsorship program provides a critical foundation for Kristel, offering the resources her family needs to keep her healthy and focused on her early education.
