Juan

Juan is a 10-year-old boy from Villeta, Paraguay. He is in grade 3 and especially enjoys math. In his free time, Juan likes drawing and painting, and he dreams of becoming a professional soccer player when he grows up. Juan comes from a large and loving family. He enjoys spending time with his parents and siblings and is grateful for the people around him. He is also a hopeful young boy who prays that he will have the opportunity to continue his studies and achieve his dreams. Juan lives with his parents, two brothers, and two sisters in a brick house with a cement roof. The house is in poor condition, but his family is working to improve it little by little. His father is the only one who works and earns a living as a construction worker’s assistant. Despite the challenges his family faces, Juan remains hopeful about his future. He is a creative and determined boy who wants to continue his education and one day build a better future for himself and his family.
