Yomara

Yomara is a 16-year-old girl from San Blas, Paraguay. She is in grade 10 and especially enjoys health class. She loves reading and spending time with her friends and family. Yomara hopes to become a lawyer when she grows up, and she would also like to take a cooking course.

Yomara is a curious and determined young woman who enjoys learning new things. She likes basketball, although she does not currently play, and she enjoys reading books in her free time. Yomara lives with her mother, two brothers, and sister in a brick house with a tile roof. Her mother, Agustina, has hearing difficulties and does not work. Yomara’s stepfather works in construction and helps support the household. Yomara is grateful for the support that helps her continue her education and work toward her dreams. She is determined to become a lawyer and build a bright future for herself and her family.

Sponsorship enables children to attend class every day and have the supplies they need to complete their education, grow up healthy, and achieve their dreams.
