Peter

Peter is an active and curious 3-year-old boy living in Kitui, Kenya. He loves art, scribbling alphabets, playing ball games, and trying to fix or make his own broken toys. Peter enjoys eating ugali and rice with bean stew, and his family hopes to see him grow up into a strong, healthy boy.

He lives with his mother and brother in a brick home with a metal sheet roof. His mother is a single parent who faces significant health struggles following a surgical complication, leaving the family reliant on Peter’s elderly great-grandfather, a priest in a small local church, for care and cooking. Managing medical expenses and basic daily necessities on a limited and precarious income creates immense hardship. Receiving steady support offers crucial assistance to his household, easing their financial burden and ensuring Peter will have the opportunity to start school and build a bright future.
