Jordan

Jordan is seven years old and lives in Danbolgangn, Ghana. He is currently in kindergarten and loves his literature and language arts classes. Jordan is very creative and loves drawing. He also enjoys playing soccer with his friends. When he grows up Jordan says he wants to become a nurse because he wants to ensure everyone in his community receives the care they need and deserve.

Jordan lives with his parents and four brothers. Both of Jordan’s parents are farmers. The income they earn from farming is not enough to cover their daily expenses, including the school fees for all the children. For Jordan, being part of the Chalice sponsorship program would not only help the family ease their financial worries, but it would also provide him with an wonderful opportunity to continue his studies and gain the foundational education needed to eventually attend post-secondary school and achieve his goal of becoming a nurse in his community.
