John

John is a very caring and sweet 7-year-old boy from Brgy.102, the Philippines, who loves to give his mom big hugs and kisses. He is currently in kindergarten where he enjoys learning language arts and drawing. He also loves reading and playing with his best friends JM, Marco, Bevier, Ella, and Yuri. This sweet little boy is also a big fan of donuts, cake, spaghetti, and chicken and anything blue or orange, his favourite colours. John has big dreams of becoming a police officer when he grows up!

The family lives in a wood home with many holes and a sheet-metal roof. John’s grandparents own the home, which often floods during the rainy season. With three brothers and two sisters, John’s parents work tirelessly to take care of their large family. His father works as an on-call checker at the local pier while his mother is a caretaker in their village. Unfortunately, their income is not consistent, which makes covering daily expenses difficult and has even resulted in the family having to sometimes skip meals to make ends meet..

Receiving sponsorship would not only be a tremendous help for John, but it would help ease the financial burden on his family, ensuring John focus can focus on his studies, develop his potential, and work toward achieving his dream of becoming a police officer.

Sponsorship enables children to attend class every day and have the supplies they need to complete their education, grow up healthy, and achieve their dreams.
