Jésica

Say hello to Jésica, a sweet 12-year-old girl from Paraguay. Jésica loves math class and is currently in Grade 6. She has three very talkative parrots who she loves spending time with, caring for them. She also helps at home by always keeping her room clean, doing the dishes, and sweeping  the patio. Jésica hopes that once she is finished school she can go on to beauty school to get her hairdressing diploma.

Jésica lives with her father, Marcos, step-mother, Noelia, and sister, Maria. Marcos has occasional work and Noelia is a stay-at-home mom who cares for the children.

With irregular employment, it’s often hard for Marcos to support his family’s basic needs, so being part of the sponsorship program will greatly help ease their financial worries and ensure Jésica continues in school with everything she needs to be successful.

Sponsorship enables children to attend class every day and have the supplies they need to complete their education, grow up healthy, and achieve their dreams.
