Dafne

Meet Dafne, a very intelligent five-year-old girl from Guatemala. Now in preschool, Dafne enjoys writing, language arts, and playing dolls with her classmates during recess. She also loves doing puzzles with her sister, Mariana. Her favourite foods are spaghetti and churros, and whenever her mother makes tortillas, Dafne likes to help by shaping the small balls of dough.

When Dafne finishes school she has big dreams of becoming a police officer in her community. In the meantime, she says she is very happy because she has a loving family.

Dafne lives with her parents and sister in a small adobe home. Her parents work hard to support the children but it can often be difficult to cover all the monthly expenses, including the school fees. Sponsoring Dafne would be a huge relief to the family and allow Dafne to continue in school where she will get a good foundational education to achieve her goal of becoming a police officer when she grows up.

Sponsorship enables children to attend class every day and have the supplies they need to complete their education, grow up healthy, and achieve their dreams.
