Helaleila

Helaleila is five years old and lives in Mikinduri, Kenya where she attends preschool. Helaleila loves to draw so she is really enjoying her art class. When Helaleila is not in school, she likes socializing with her friends and playing hide-and-seek. She already knows she wants to become a doctor when she finishes school.

Helaleila lives with her parents and two sisters. Her parents work on local farms, which can be challenging with the changing seasons and crop failures. With all of the children in school, it has been difficult for her parents to keep up with their school fees on top of covering all of the family’s basic needs. For this struggling family, the sponsorship program would provide Helaleila with a great opportunity. It would be a huge help in relieving the family’s financial strain and would ensure Helaleila has everything she needs to be successful and eventually achieve her goals.

Sponsorship enables children to attend class every day and have the supplies they need to complete their education, grow up healthy, and achieve their dreams.
