Gift

Gift is a friendly six-year-old from Pungwa, Zambia. Although Gift is still in preschool, he already knows he wants to become a teacher when he graduates. He is enjoying learning about math and looks forward to elementary school. He tries his best to get good grades so that he can have a better future. Gift loves to draw in his free time and watch soccer games with his friends. He is a very hardworking boy who likes helping his mother fetch water.

Gift lives with his mother, two brothers, and sister in a one-room home. His mother grows sunflowers and maize to help feed the family. As a single parent, she struggles to meet the family’s basic needs, so being part of the sponsorship program would be a wonderful opportunity for Gift and a great financial relief for this struggling family. It would ensure Gift has everything he needs to continue his education and eventually achieve his goal of becoming a teacher.

Sponsorship enables children to attend class every day and have the supplies they need to complete their education, grow up healthy, and achieve their dreams.
