Estefani

Estafani is a very fun and talented eight year old living in a small agrarian community called Comunidad Brisas del Mar in Retalhuleu, Gautemala. Estafani is currently in Grade 2 and enjoys math class the most of all her subjects. When she is not in class, Estafani enjoys drawing, playing soccer with friends, and playing with her dolls. She is already a talented singer, something she wants to carry forward into her chosen career as a teacher. One of her favourite things is rainy days because she loves seeing the pretty rainbows that follow.

Estafani lives with her grandmother and sister in a very small wood house with a sheet-metal roof. As the sole provider for Estafani and her sister, her grandmother often finds it challenging to provide for all their needs, including the school fees. Being part of the sponsorship program would be a tremendous opportunity for Estafani and a big financial relief for her grandmother. It would ensure that Estafani can continue school, gaining a strong foundational education that will allow her to go on to become a successful teacher.
