Erastus

Erastus is an 87-year-old widower from Narumoru, Kenya. He greatly enjoys playing with his grandchildren and giving them nuggets of advice about various life situations. Unable to work due to his age and health issues, his children are also unable to help as they work constantly and struggle to support their own families.

Erastus lives in a plywood home with a sheet-metal roof. He is in great need of food items, medical care, and clothing, so sponsorship will be very beneficial to him, and will allow him to live with fewer daily worries.

Sponsorship enables elders to eat well, access healthcare and medication, and connect socially with a community that fosters a sense of belonging.
