Emma

Emma is a very creative and caring eight-year-old girl from Benjamin Aceval, Paraguay. In Grade 2, Emma loves language arts class and was recently awarded “Best Student” and “Outstanding Student” for her hard work and excellent grades. Emma is a wonderful dancer and until recently, was enrolled in a Paraguayan dance class, which unfortunately she has had to stop because of the costly fees. She dreams of being able to once again take dance lessons. Her big goal is to become a pediatrician, so she can help vulnerable and sick children in her community.

Emma lives with her single mother and brother. While her mother works diligently to support the siblings, as a single parent it can be challenging. Being part of the sponsorship program would offer the family some financial relief and help to ensure Emma is able to continue in school and get a foundational education that will allow her to eventually attend post-secondary school.

Sponsorship enables children to attend class every day and have the supplies they need to complete their education, grow up healthy, and achieve their dreams.
