Juan

Juan is a 10-year-old boy from Paraguay, who has big dreams of becoming a professional soccer player when he’s finished school. In Grade 5, this soccer pro in training also loves math. Juan is full of life, highly energetic, independent, and responsible. He’s also very curious and ambitious, and is always up for learning new things. His mother takes Juan to the local soccer club regularly, where he likes to spend all of his free time.

Juan lives with his sister, Briana, little brother, Bruno, his grandfather, and mother. As a single parent, Juan’s mother works hard and long hours, so when she’s away from home, Juan and his siblings stay with his aunt. They are currently living in their grandfather’s home and look forward to when they can move into their own home. Sponsoring Juan would help this family tremendously and ensure Juan is able to finish school with everything he needs to be successful.
