Elena is a gentle and resilient 78-year-old mother living in a brick home with a tile roof in Kara Kara, Bolivia. Widowed nearly four decades ago, she dedicated her life to raising her family independently. Though she has faced profound losses over the years—including losing her business during the pandemic and mourning the passing of her daughter—Elena maintains a quiet strength and deep gratitude for her life and family.
