Derlinson

Meet Derlinson, a bright five-year-old boy from Grand-Bassin, Haiti. Derlinson attends preschool where his favourite subject is art, but he also loves reading and writing. He has many friends at school and likes playing soccer with them when he is not in class. Derlinson is a happy little boy who likes to help his mother doing small chores like washing dishes. Derlinson has big dreams of becoming a doctor when he finishes school because he wants to help heal the sick people in his community.

Derlinson lives with his mother. As a single parent, his mother does her best to support Derlinson, but it can be difficult with inconsistent, low-paying work. Sponsoring this little boy would be a great help to his mother and would help ensure Derlinson has everything he needs to succeed in school.

Sponsorship enables children to attend class every day and have the supplies they need to complete their education, grow up healthy, and achieve their dreams.
