Rashadi

Rashadi is a very friendly nine-year-old boy from Luhombero, Tanzania. In Grade 1, Rashadi says math is his favourite class. He has many friends and likes to play with them when he’s not in school or doing homework. He travels 2 kms to school daily and dreams of becoming a military officer after he graduates.

Rashadi lives with his mother, who is a farmer and works tirelessly to ensure he has the basic essentials, including his school fees. After Rashadi’s father abandoned the family, his mother was left to support him on her own. He now has a stepfather, but the family still struggles to cover all of their expenses. Being part of the sponsorship program would help ease the family’s financial stress and ensure Rashadi has everything he needs to succeed in school.

Sponsorship enables children to attend class every day and have the supplies they need to complete their education, grow up healthy, and achieve their dreams.
