Chikondiwe

Meet Chikondiwe, a very friendly six year old from Kabwe, Zambia. Chikondiwe is in Grade 1 and loves math class. She has two best friends, Martha and Joy, and when the three aren’t playing net ball, Chikondiwe spends her time drawing or helping her mother with small chores, like sweeping or fetching water. After she finishes Grade 12, Chikondiwe hopes to pursue nursing, a career that will allow her to help others.

Chikondiwe comes from a very large family. She has three brothers and three sisters. Her parents are both small-scale farmers, which unfortunately, doesn’t provide enough income to sustain their large family, including the school fees for all the children. Sponsoring Chikondiwe can help ease the family’s financial burden and ensure she has the educational resources needed to remain in school and reach her full potential.

Sponsorship enables children to attend class every day and have the supplies they need to complete their education, grow up healthy, and achieve their dreams.
