Chamaëlle

Chamaëlle is a bright seven-year-old girl living in Carrefour-Sanon, Haiti. Currently a dedicated third-grader, she enjoys her classes and names mathematics and social studies as her favorite subjects. In her free time, she likes playing hide-and-seek and eating rice. Chamaëlle is also very helpful at home, where she regularly assists by sweeping the house and washing clothes. Driven by a deep desire to take care of her family when they are sick, she works hard because she dreams of becoming a doctor when she grows up.
She lives in a home made of metal sheets with a plastic roof alongside her father, mother, four sisters, and two brothers. Her father works as a bricklayer, and her mother earns a living as a merchant. Navigating the daily economic environment with a large household makes securing stable resources a constant challenge. The financial strain of balancing basic household necessities with educational costs creates an ongoing hurdle. A steady sponsorship will bring profound relief to her family, ensuring Chamaëlle receives the learning materials and support she needs to stay in the classroom.
Sponsorship enables children to attend class every day and have the supplies they need to complete their education, grow up healthy, and achieve their dreams.
