Celeste

Celeste is an energetic 8-year-old girl living in Villeta, Paraguay. Currently in the third grade, she is a dedicated student who loves math class and works hard every day to improve her reading and writing skills. In her free time, Celeste loves dancing, making new friends, and helping her family look after their many household animals, which include chickens, dogs, cats, rabbits, quail, and a pig. Looking toward the future, she dreams of becoming a physical therapist.

She lives with her parents, grandparents, and three siblings. Her father works as a security guard, and her mother takes on part-time house cleaning jobs while balancing the care of the children. The family faces significant economic pressure due to inconsistent income and the high costs of ongoing medical treatment for Celeste’s older sister, who has a heart condition. Managing these urgent healthcare needs alongside daily necessities and school supplies makes education a heavy financial hurdle.

Sponsorship enables children to attend class every day and have the supplies they need to complete their education, grow up healthy, and achieve their dreams.
