Caleb

This little six-year-old is Caleb, an active and happy preschooler. Caleb lives in Kisole, Kenya where he enjoys playing with his cars — so much so, he wants to be a cab driver when he grows up. Right now, he is enjoying learning in preschool and looking forward to elementary school.

Caleb lives with his parents, brother, and sister in a three-roomed house that is was under construction until it was stalled due to financial constraints. Caleb’s father used to be a truck driver but was in a severe accident that left him unable to work. His mother is now the sole provider, taking care of the children on her meager wages she earns doing daily labourer jobs.

Being part of the Chalice sponsorship program would be an incredible opportunity for Caleb and would help ease this struggling family’s financial burden. It would also ensure Caleb can continue in school where he will gain the educational foundation he needs to reach his full potential.

Sponsorship enables children to attend class every day and have the supplies they need to complete their education, grow up healthy, and achieve their dreams.
