Barbra

Barbra is a compassionate and motivated 7-year-old girl living in Ka Mercy Nyaseme, Kenya. She is an enthusiastic student who loves her language arts class and works hard in school with a very clear goal in mind: she wants to become a nurse when she grows up so she can take care of her community and help the sick. Outside of the classroom, Barbra brings a joyful energy to everything she does, loving to sing and play rope skipping with her friends.

She lives with her parents, her brother, and her sister in a home made of dirt walls with a sturdy metal sheet roof. Barbra is deeply focused on her education journey and is incredibly grateful for the encouragement and support that keeps her moving closer to her dreams of healing others.

Sponsorship enables children to attend class every day and have the supplies they need to complete their education, grow up healthy, and achieve their dreams.
