Caleb

Caleb is a happy and energetic 5-year-old boy living in Kisole, Kenya. He is incredibly excited about the opportunity to attend school, where he absolutely loves his language arts class. Caleb has a wonderful, creative imagination and loves making his own toy cars in his free time. Inspired by his love for vehicles, he dreams of becoming a cab driver when he grows up so he can help people get where they need to go. When it comes to mealtime, Caleb’s face lights up for a warm bowl of his absolute favorite food: rice and soup.

Caleb lives in a brick home with a metal sheet roof alongside his parents, his brother, and his sister. While his family faces difficult circumstances following a severe road accident that left his father unable to work, his mother, Jacinta, works tirelessly doing casual jobs to take care of everyone. Despite the financial hardships at home, Caleb remains a joyful child, and his family is deeply grateful for the support that gives him a fair shot at a consistent education.
