Arjun

Arjun is seven years old and lives in Kuruppanthara, India. Currently in Grade 1, he does very well and loves math and art class, where he can use his imagination to draw and colour his pictures that he often enters into colouring competitions. He loves gardening, chicken biryani, and playing cricket and will play whenever he gets the chance. Arjun likes to play with his best friends Kevin, Lebin, and Vishnav. His other best friend is his cat, Meetu, who he loves very much. When Arjun grows up, he wants to join the military.

Arjun’s father passed away July 19, 2024 from kidney failure. Arjun and his mother moved into his grandparents home to help the family with finances and healing because arjun was having a very hard time after his father’s passing and was especially afraid of being alone in the dark. He underwent counselling, though, and is now much better and even sings and dances more.

Arjun’s mother is a single parent who often finds it very difficult to keep up with the monthly expenses, but she does her best to always ensure Arjunn has what he needs to continue in school. Sponsoring Arjun would be a big relief to his mother and ensure this sweet boy is able to continue his studies and eventually graduate, so he can become a police officer.

Sponsorship enables children to attend class every day and have the supplies they need to complete their education, grow up healthy, and achieve their dreams.
